Deliver evidence-based therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual techniques, and ADL instruction under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Assist in creating and progressing individualized care plans that address cognitive and motor challenges common to dementia and related conditions.
Track and document outcomes, reporting changes promptly to the PT and interdisciplinary team.
Educate patients (and staff, when appropriate) on safe mobility, fall-prevention, and strategies that optimize functional independence.
Contribute to a culture of safety by maintaining equipment, adhering to security protocols, and ensuring a therapeutic environment at all times.
Accredited PTA Degree and current (or eligible) Ohio PTA license.
Experience—or a strong interest—in geriatrics, neuro, or memory-care populations.
Confidence working autonomously while remaining fully aligned with your supervising PT.
Clear, compassionate communication skills and a team-first mindset.
